Andrew 29th →
This is awfully cute. Both the project and Andrew himself.
Although I am secretely hoping this is a guerilla marketing ploy by Tiffany or similar and every girl that approaches him gets a two carat engagement ring to use on the 29th. In which case I will definitely need to stop by.

LDN spots: Deptford project →
ldnspots:
In mid-2008, a remarkable project came in Deptford, South London: a 1960s rail car was transported to the high street to become part of an urban reclamation arts project. The car was stripped and repurposed by designer Morag Myerscough, then turned into a café. The Deptford…
Neglect.
Sorry for being absent to the two or three of you that might have actually noticed/missed me.
Stay tuned.

London Fashion Week
London Fashion Week is lost on me. In fact, I didn’t even realise it was happening this week until I was briskly walking to university, breezed by Somerset House and bumped into some fashion dude; feathers quite literally flew from his outfit upon impact. True story.
I have nothing of note to say about LFW, however I have many things to say about this fucking beaut of a car I spotted parked...

Graze!
I really enjoy Graze - and by that I mean the company and the delicious things they send me in the post every single Wednesday. The premise is that you sign up to the website, rate the some 100+ snacks they have according to your personal tastes, decide whether you want a ‘Nibble box’ (which can contain anything) or one of the nutrition plan boxes which are balanced and designed for...

Something cool.
Today in school I learnt that the reason all the movie post-production offices are based in Soho is because the area has a built-for-purpose, lightning speed internet connection to the area in Hollywood where all the movie post-production offices are so they can send large CGI files within seconds.
That’s so friggin’ cool.

Stratford is a bit racist.
Just stumbled on this really inappropriate and therefore hilarious picture of one of my BFF’s in Stratford.

Princely
Time Out are offering one lucky graduate the chance to come and work for them for three months, full-time for (and I quote) “a princely £2 a day subsidy for food, and a 2-zone travel card, plus the odd invite to something very exclusive”.
Are you fucking kidding me?
I must admit, it’s likely that I might not have been so enraged had they not gone for the most positively...

Londoners, set your faces to terrified.
http://www.getaheadofthegames.com/travelinaffectedareas/city/london-public-transport.html
One and a half months of doom await us. Here is TFL’s guide to surviving public transport during the Olympics and it’s even more bleak than I could have ever imagined.

The Artist
I’m trying to write a little post about ‘The Artist’, noting that as much as I loved it, it was completely not worthy of the some twenty-two BAFTA/Academy Award nominations it has received. But my brain isn’t working the way I want it to and my words aren’t making the sense I want them to make, so please take the above thought and fill in the gaps for yourself....
Why so serious?
I think the most attractive quality anyone can have is the ability to laugh at themselves.
After being single for around four months, I’m beginning to stop behaving like “a dog in heat”, as was lovingly described by a friend and really figure out what it is I’m looking for in terms of meeting new friends etc.
After developing a raging crush on someone based purely on...
